Quality Car Servicing at Special Price

There are a large number of Garages offering low price car services. It is very important that the car owner checks what they are actually getting before leaving their car for service. It is impossible to carry out proper servicing for some prices that are being offered.

Most SIMI recognised Dealerships will outline in detail what you are getting for your money. Despite the high costs of running their workshops they have reduced prices in order to bring in work and stave off redundancies. This will not result in any reduction in efficiency and quality of work carried out.

One of the SIMI Dealers, Mark Doran of Jack Doran Motors outlined the importance of knowing what you are getting for your money. He says:

"It is vitally important that the person carrying out the work is fully competent to do so. The customer has to be aware of what level of service is being carried out. A very important item is the quality of oil being used as different engines require high quality oils.

There is a huge difference in oils, some are no more than coloured water offering no long term protection to your engine. At Jack Doran Motors we only use Total fully synthetic oil which gives maximum protection and exceeds manufacturers specification.

We insist that every potential customer knows exactly the cost of their Service before they leave their car. If further work is required they will be informed of the cost before any repair is started. We only use quality parts and all work is carried out by fully qualified and trained mechanics."

The advice to car owners getting their car serviced is to use only recognised workshops which can guarantee all work.
